• Franklin Lakes Nature preserve.  Dogs allowed. Great for kids.  You can even rent kayaks.  

• Bonnabel Nature Park. Dogs allowed. Kid friendly.  Not crowded.  

• Ramapo Reservation.  Dogs allowed. Kid friendly.  Many trails.  Can get crowded. 

• The Celery Farm. No dogs allowed.  Great for kids.  Many different birds for the bird lovers out there!
